During the annual Waterfront Festival the Menominee Opera House opened it's doors to the public for free tours. The response was amazing, the lines rivaled those at the beer tent as people waited their turn to view this 104 year old building. Over 1100 folks attended the tours. There were lots of interesting items describing the opera house and some of the shows and events that went on their. Mike was "Usher Pete" and the "Phantom" was the host and narrator. Consessions and memoribilia were available to purchase There were many volunteers who helped bring the tours together. We thank them all. |
